Lindsey is The Penny’s Venue Manager and Lead Coordinator. She thrives on supporting clients in calm, purpose driven, and detail-oriented ways, guiding them through the planning process with confidence and care. On wedding days, she loves collaborating with the full vendor team to ensure every detail flows seamlessly, so her clients can relax and enjoy the celebration.
Lauren, one of The Penny’s owners, oversees sales, operations, and business development. With a rich history in the events industry, she previously owned a bridal accessory business, founded Sidecar’s catering branch, and served as The Penny’s Venue Manager in its early years. Today, she continues to bring her creativity, vision, and leadership to every facet of the venue, shaping experiences that are both elevated and effortless.

"We had such an amazing experience working with The Penny! The building is such an awesome space and we loved having the mix of indoor/outdoor to take advantage of the great weather. We opted for the all-inclusive package and it was an absolute game changer - having all the decor options, the lounge space (essential!!), catering, bar service, desert, and coordination included saved us so much hassle (and probably our sanity). Lindsey was on top of everything we needed in the lead-up with helping design the tablescapes and floor plans to coordinating with all our vendors, and Lauren ran everything flawlessly weekend-of. Everything was absolutely gorgeous - everyone (including us!) had such an amazing time and we are so grateful for the whole team that made our day perfect!"

"A bit delayed, but my husband and I got married at The Penny last June and all I can say is WOW. Lauren and Lindsay made the entire experience perfect! From assisting with all the planning, to answering all our questions, and helping us book and coordinate all of our vendors; they were our partners in planning. The day before the wedding at our rehearsal, everything went so smoothly. When we first saw the venue decorated the day of the wedding, we were in awe at how they had made our vision come to life. The entire day was a dream! The food (Field to Table), the photobooth, the decor, the draping (Draping by Kim), the DJ (Kramer Events) were all better than we could have ever imagined. We had an absolute blast and the best day of our lives! Even now, 7 months later, we are still hearing from our guests what a great time they had, how well the venue fit us and how amazing everything was. We even celebrated at our after party with some drinks with Lindsay. There truly aren't enough kind words to say about the Penny! We cannot recommend this as a wedding venue enough. We love the Penny!!"

We provide a range of rental packages tailored to accommodate various event and client requirements. Each package is meticulously crafted to streamline the planning process, offer exquisite and functional furniture and decor, and allow for personalized customization.
All our packages include onsite staff, set up and breakdown of venue-owned items, in-house tables and chairs (quantity varies based on the package selected), a custom-built bar, security services, abundant indoor plants, and full access to the entire property, including indoor and outdoor spaces, catering area, and showroom/lounge.

The Penny is a fully produced, all-inclusive wedding experience — including gourmet catering, signature cocktails, coordination, DJ, elevated design, stylish rentals, and full staffing. Most couples invest between $20,000–$30,000 depending on guest count and selections. We host a limited number of weddings each season to ensure every event is fully supported and intentionally designed. If this aligns with your vision, we’d love to connect.
The Penny boasts a lush private patio ideal for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and dance parties. Enhanced with modern fencing and landscaping, the patio showcases our historic barn constructed in 1895, illuminated by stunning bistro lighting throughout.
